About Donna
Ms. Jordan has over 40 years’ experience in a broad range of financial services, including: banking, mortgage banking, financial planning, insurance, investment management, and employee benefits. Ms. Jordan holds 4 professional designations, including: Certified Financial Planner®, Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Registered Health Underwriter.
She is an Adjunct Instructor with Florida State University, teaching courses in the Certified Financial Planner® online curriculum. In this capacity, she has served as a Program Director and Textbook Editor for the CFP® Board.
Ms. Jordan earned her BA and MA in Education at East Central University of Oklahoma. She started her financial services career as a bank officer in Florida and Alabama in the 1970s. She then created her own financial services firm (Jordan Financial Services) in 1984, and then in 2004, she expanded her services to fee-based planning and investment management as an independent registered investment advisory firm, Money Professionals, LLC.
In the fall of 2022, Money Professionals, LLC was acquired by OneAscent Wealth Management, LLC, an SEC registered investment advisor. Ms. Jordan has a strong desire to assist clients in aligning their investments with their values and to offer good communication and lasting relationships. This step provides Ms. Jordan the opportunity to work with a wonderful group of like-minded people to serve her clients.
She has served in numerous capacities with community and non-profit organizations during her career. She is currently a member and lay teacher at Community Life Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where she chairs the Endowment Committee. She is also a Founding Director and Co-Finance Chair for Magdalene’s Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to serve women who were victims of sex trafficking. Donna has two adult children who live in the Florida Panhandle area.
