Lisa Matthews
Lisa Mathews serves as a Client Service Specialist for OneAscent Wealth Birmingham. Lisa enjoys building relationships with client families as she manages the day to day activities of client accounts. Lisa joined OneAscent Wealth, formerly Pearson and Associates, in 2011.
Lisa obtained her B.S. majoring in Accounting at the University of Alabama in 1986, and began her career at Ernst & Young, LLP where she obtained her CPA license. She went on to graduate with a Master of Business Administration at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1993. Beginning in 1996, Lisa spent 11 years supporting her husband’s ministry and raising their daughters. She returned to the financial industry in 2006 at Ronald Blue in Nashville, TN.
Lisa is an active member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Jay have been married since 1988. They enjoy hiking, football and other outdoor activities with their three daughters and two sons-in-law.
