John Beatty
About John
After growing up in metro Atlanta, John went on to Auburn University where, in 2007, he graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Religious Studies. He spent his first post-graduate years working as a project manager in commercial construction.
In 2011, John began working for an outreach ministry called Young Life, working in the Brookhaven & Dunwoody area for three years prior to moving to Birmingham. For the last 8 years, John served as the Area Director for Young Life Birmingham South where he mentored teenagers and grew the ministry footprint.
John joined OneAscent in July 2022 and loves the ability to care for people through the lens of personal finance. John desires to care for people where they are, help them steward their resources in a healthy way, and give them a vision for wholeness in their finances.
Outside of work you can find John spending time with his wife Jessica and their two young children. John enjoys reading, running, and being with his people. He is a member at Faith Presbyterian Church where he and his family have attended since 2015.
